1. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
The Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is one of the most popular attractions in Gatlinburg and the most popular among Ripley’s attractions. What makes it so great, and why should you go? The Ripley’s Aquarium is home to over 10,000 creatures! From poison dart frogs, jellyfish, and sharks, you’ll see it all! If you’re lucky you may even get to see Sally the sea turtle! You and your family will also get to see the water control room for the entire aquarium, explore the playhouse, and climb inside of exhibits to find other little critters and fish! The highly anticipated events throughout the day are interactions with the rays at Ray Bay, watching dive shows, and watching the penguins! Ripley’s aquarium says to allow about two hours to explore and visit at this attraction.
2. Ripley’s Haunted Adventure
Ready to feel your heart skip a couple of beats while you wander around in the dark? You’ll enter Ripley’s Haunted Adventure by elevator. Once inside you are told to put your hand on the person in front of you so you don’t get left behind. Live actors will be dressed up, they can scream, talk to you, and even follow you. However, they will not touch like some other haunted houses. You’ll twist and turn through dark hallways and rooms waiting to see if something will jump out from around the corner or behind a door. 3. Ripley’s Guinness World Records Museum
You’re probably guilty of looking at a Guinness World Records book. You probably marveled at some of the wild and amazing things some people have accomplished. The Ripley’s Guinness World Records Museum is a collaboration of their books brought to life! You’ll get to test your skills against records like how long can your hold your breath, how hard can you punch a stack of cinder blocks, and more! The museum will showcase memorabilia and priceless collectibles from people such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and more. Spend your day learning some pretty cool and unusual facts while wandering around this Ripley’s attraction in Gatlinburg.
How’s your sense of direction? Think you could make it through Ripley’s Mirror Maze pretty easily? Try and see! This mirror maze is light up with glowing LED lights all flashing and changing to the beat of the music that plays inside. You may end up lost enough that you find the special mirrored room within the maze!
5. Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf
Put your putt-putt skills to the test at the Davy Crockett Mini-Golf course! This course is well-maintained and tons of family fun for all ages! There are two playing courses to choose from, and both have a fun, adventure outdoor theme. Try to sink your ball while putting through forts, over little streams, and into tight spots trying to get the best score!
