A 10 year old boy from ICELAND had a dream to build the World’s Largest Titanic Model with LEGO® BRICKS. It was a daunting, 11 month undertaking with his Autism. His inspiring story has generated wide media, where he shared his story in his own words.

Autumn Color in the Smokies

A common misconception is that peak fall leaf color season in Great Smoky Mountains National Park happens in mid-October. Spectacularly bright colors actually light up the Smoky Mountain zone for seven+ weeks. Colors begin to intensify at peak elevations then make their way down to Pigeon Forge in the foothills at the base of the mountains.

Stomp Out Breast Cancer! Don’t miss the biggest event of the year! Rocky Top Wine Trail’s annual STOMP OUT Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is scheduled for the first Saturday in October (October 6th, 2108). This is an all-day event where we travel to three of the wineries along the Rocky Top Wine Trail (Mountain Valley Winery, Apple Barn Winery, Hillside Winery), and have activities at all each location like stomping grapes and bobbing for apples.
