How to Find the Perfect Cabin in the Smokies for Your Trip

With hundreds of cabins in the Smokies, finding the perfect cabin can seem like a daunting task. Fortunately, we know our cabins, from cozy cabins for two to large Gatlinburg cabins. The following guide will help you choose just the right spot for you, whether you are booking on behalf of you and your sweetheart or planning a large get-together.

Choose Between Cozy Cabins and Luxurious Lodges

The first place to start is the number of people staying in one of our cabins in the Smokies. We have locations that are just right for a romantic weekend getaway, while our large Gatlinburg cabins are great for family reunions or a group of friends to have fun together. Planning a yoga, cycling, or hiking trip? How about a corporate retreat? Our large Gatlinburg cabins can sleep up to 30 in complete luxury.

The sleeping arrangement can vary in our cabins, with some of our locations offering bunk beds for children, like Bear Crossing Lodge, which can sleep up to 16. With a movie theater room and that has its own pool table and a large porch with a hot tub, this is a great option for families bringing children. Others, like Rise N Shine, offer master suites with private bathrooms and jacuzzis for every bed, making it an excellent choice for a couples’ getaway.

Pick a Woodland Setting or Look Over the Trees

Another option to consider is that of setting. Fancy escaping into the great outdoors? We have a number of cabins in quiet woodland settings, perfect for enjoying the rustle of leaves, bird calls, and the total absence of traffic. Consider Windy Ridge, a two-bedroom pet-friendly cabin set on a grassy knoll, with trees all around. Wandering Bear Lodge is even more secluded, and its four bedrooms are great for couples or friends, who will enjoy the huge porch and woodland setting.

How about a view of the Smoky Mountains from your back porch? We have plenty of cabins that take in the beautiful colors and vistas of the national park. You will not soon forget the view in any season from Stardust, one of two-bedroom cabins in the Smokies. Drink in the view from the porch swing, relax in the bubbling hot tub, or even start a friendly game of pool.

Meanwhile, elegant Four Seasons has windows down the entire length of one wall, meaning you can stay snuggled up by the fire and still enjoy the view of the Smokies. The two-story porch that runs the length of the cabin gives you a good reason to go outside, plus a hot tub and games room offer plenty of diversions for up to six.

Every one of these cabins comes with a full kitchen, too, making your our cabins even more affordable. Save money and cook your meals in one of our cabins in the Smokies and rest easy knowing you picked the perfect cabin.
